Doshin the Giant made its debut on the Nintendo GameCube at the ongoing Space World 2001 event. The game, starring Doshin, falls squarely in the god-games subgenre, as players must use Doshin to interact with the natives and the environments of a small tropical island. In his quest to be admired by the villagers, Doshin must help them set up communities and physically mold the environment around them to their suiting. The game was originally released on the 64DD in Japan but has been overhauled graphically for its GameCube appearance.
