In an announcement to its PlayStation Underground members, Sony revealed that it will be opening its PlayStation store in San Francisco Wednesday night to begin selling the highly coveted PlayStation Portable at 12:01am on Thursday. The store will sell the PSP Value Pack and PSP games on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't fret if you can't make it--GameSpot will be on hand to webcast the event live for On the Spot. The PSP has already enjoyed a successful launch in Japan, and will go on sale in Europe later this year.
