Sony exec Landau to lead off IEMA summit

The Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association (IEMA) today said that Sony Pictures Entertainment vice chairman and Sony Pictures Digital president Yair Landau would deliver the keynote address at its upcoming Executive Summit to be held in Henderson, Nevada. The event will take place July 19 through July 22.

Landau presides over Sony Online Entertainment (developer and publisher of EverQuest), Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Sony Pictures Digital Networks.

Landau's presentation is slated to address how the integration of music, movies, games, and television continues to evolve the broader entertainment sector.

The IEMA expects member companies Wal-Mart, Target, Electronics Boutique, and Circuit City to be represented at the invitation-only event as well as execs from Microsoft, Nokia, Electronic Arts, and Take-Two Interactive.
