Sony Drops Price of Japanese PlayStation
TOKYO - On January 18, SCEI announced it is lowering the price of the PlayStation console in Japan. The new MSRP for PlayStation will be 15,000 yen (about $130) -- 3,000 yen cheaper than the current price. This move will be effective Jan. 23, the same day PocketStation is released in Japan.
