Sonic the Hedgehog classics dash onto PS2, Xbox

Sega of America today announced the release of Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PlayStation2 and Xbox. The collection, originally released on the GameCube in 2002, will include seven Sonic the Hedgehog titles from the Sega Genesis console as well as six Sonic titles from Sega's classic Game Gear handheld. Also included in the package are Sega Genesis offerings Comix Zone and The Ooze, in addition to a Sonic museum filled with artwork and comics that feature the racing rodent. Sonic Mega Collection Plus is rated “E” for Everyone and carries an MSRP of $19.95.
