Multiplayer military action games like Battlefield 1942 and Operation Flashpoint have been incredibly popular in recent years, something that Soldner: Secret Wars plans to capitalize on with its modern-day Eastern European setting and large-scale battles. With the game recently delayed until early May, GameSpot Complete members will have the first chance to get a look at Soldner's multiplayer action.

GameSpot Complete subscribers can now sign up to win one of 100 places in the Soldner beta test. The beta contest will run until March 15, and winners will quickly gain access to the closed beta test. The contest is open only to GameSpot Complete members who are over the age of 18 and residents of the US or Canada.

Soldner: Secret Wars is a modern-day team-based shooter set in the richly detailed terrain of Eastern Europe. With realistic physics, destructible environments, realistic weapons modeling, and the latest military vehicles, Soldner: Secret Wars is an ambitious game, and it's expected to deliver large-scale battles with up to 128 players in the final version (on Linux-based servers).
