City Interactive today sent word that Sniper: Ghost Warrior--a headshot-happy first-person shooter--has sold through 1 million units. The title debuted in late June and is currently available on the Xbox 360 and PC. A PlayStation 3 version is targeted to ship during March with a host of PS3-exclusive content like single-player missions, multiplayer maps, and sniper rifles.

Looking ahead, last month City Interactive announced its intention to craft a sequel to Sniper: Ghost Warrior as part of its Unreal/CryEngine deal. The publisher noted that the sequel will land on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC simultaneously.
