IncaGold and Xicat Interactive have announced their upcoming first-person shooter, Sniper. The game is set in the 1980s, and it features the dark underworlds of a variety of cities, including Las Vegas, Chicago, and Rome. Players will have access to a wide variety of weapons to use in an intense series of firefights.

In addition to first-person shooting, the game will include some strategy. "We're combining a twisting plot with real strategic planning, all in a first-person shooter," said Nik Soderstrom, lead designer for Sniper. "This will allow the sniper to plan the attack, set up the prime location, and pick the target. You really have to think in this one."

Sniper is being built using the LithTech development system, and it is scheduled for release this holiday season.
