As Starladder continues, its CS:GO tournament has run through to the 10th edition of the StarSeries. This time 16 teams have been determined by the organizer itself to compete in the online portion leading up to the StarSeries offline finals.
Among the competitors are many up and coming Eastern European and CIS teams but not last season's runner-up NiP. With vacations looming they opted out of this season's StarSeries. Of the 16 spots 10 were continuated from last season while 6 were handed out privately.
The total prize pool for the season will be $22,000 which will be spread among the 16 teams. The lion's share of the prize pool will be handed out at the offline finals which, traditionally, are held in Ukraine's capitol of Kiev. The online competition takes place from June 24th through August 13th.
