Singapore to Move on September 15

The PlayStation Move may be dated for many other countries, but Sony has kept details about its plans for the motion-sensing add-on vague when it comes to Asia. Japan aside, Sony has been quiet on launch details for the Move in the region, but it broke its silence today with an announcement confirming that the new piece of hardware would make its debut in Singapore on September 15--the same day as Europe.

Much like other territories, the PlayStation Move will be available in a series of different sales configurations in Singapore. The basic pack will retail for S$139 ($102) and will include one Move controller, a PlayStation Eye camera, one game (from a choice of either Kung Fu Rider or Sports Champions), and an additional "starter disc" that includes demos of 10 Move games. The next bundle down is the starter pack, and for S$99 consumers will receive one Move controller, a PlayStation Eye camera, and the demo starter disc. The Move controller on its own will sell for S$69, while the Navigation Controller (which is an extra add-on used for some games) will be S$49.

Sony also revealed some third-party game bundles for the Singaporean market encompassing the Move. The Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition Bundle (S$139) will include a copy of the zombie killing game, a Move controller, a PlayStation Eye, the starter disc, and a limited edition USB stick. The Time Crisis: Razing Storm Perfect Pack has yet to be priced but will include a copy of the game, a Move, a PlayStation Eye, the starter disc, and a gun attachment that the Move slips into.
