Shrapnel Games has announced that it will publish Space HoRSE, a strategy game created by Gilligames and inspired by the classic game M.U.L.E. from the 1980s. Players undertake a mission to create a self-sufficient colony on a remote planet. They must use their holistic robotic slave engineer, or "HoRSE," to harvest the resources of their new planet--food, power, titanium, and zirconium--and build a successful colony.

The game will include 3D animated cutscenes, several different species, and multiplayer support for up to four players on the same computer. Space HoRSE is currently in beta testing and is scheduled for release at the end of this month. The publisher plans to release a playable demo of the game in the next few weeks.
