Currently scheduled for release in August, Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2 for the Game Boy Advance is an action role-playing game based on the popular Shaman King anime series. The show, in case you're not familiar with it, stars a young shaman named Yoh Asakura, who has the power to summon the spirits of samurais and Chinese warlords for use in tournament battles. Yoh's ultimate goal is to gain possession of the omnipotent Great Spirit by competing in and winning the Shaman King Fight--a tournament held once every 500 years.

In Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2 you'll assume the role of Yoh as he attempts to prevent an evil shaman from resurrecting the Guardian of Demons. As you progress through the game you'll be able to collect the spirits of vanquished opponents, unlocking new offensive and defensive moves and abilities that you can use in subsequent battles as you negotiate the game's trap-filled environments.

Further details on Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2 are scarce at present, save for the fact that you'll be able to upgrade your spirits using unlockable special items as you progress through the game. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
