Acclaim is nearing the final stages of development on Shadow Man: 2econd Coming, which is scheduled for a release this August for the Sony PlayStation 2. In this action-adventure, players once again assume the role of Mike LeRoi, also known as the Shadow Man, an undead demon hunter who has to battle the Grigori, a group of sadistic demons who have been disguised as humans for the last 2,000 years. Now, the Grigori seek to be reunited with their leader, Asmodeus. If it happens, humankind is doomed, and only Shadow Man can stop them.

Acclaim promises various surprises in the story, culminating in an unexpected ending. The game's story will be told by scripted in-game sequences and cutscenes featuring full motion-capturing for the most lifelike character movements as possible. Shadow Man: 2econd Coming features seven locations that, like in the first game, are interconnected. Acclaim promises more than 50 hours of gameplay in Shadow Man: 2econd Coming.
