Seinfeld's Jason Alexander will star in a new comedy show where he will play a video game developer "who is accused of being sexist, violent, and misogynist" after his latest game comes out. This is according to a report from Canadian outlet La Presse, as translated by VideoGamer.com.

According to the report, the show is titled Pinball Wizards and is being produced by former Ubisoft developers Alexandre Amancio (Assassin's Creed writer) and Mathieu Lariviere (Splinter Cell: Double Agent designer). Amancio reportedly directed the 30-minute pilot.

The show is "intended" for Netflix, according to the report. Alexander is reportedly filming his scenes off-site "in front of a green screen in Los Angeles," while on-location shooting is happening in Quebec under the codename "1UP."

The show is apparently being produced by Amancio's transmedia company, Reflector Entertainment, out of Quebec.

It has not yet been officially announced, so take this with a grain of salt for now. We'll report back with more information when it becomes available.

Pinball Wizards may not be the only gaming-related show on the way. In February, it was reported that Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson will play a "socially inept" gamer in the pilot for a Hulu comedy called Future Man. The show created by Superbad and Pineapple Express writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
