Sega group to get first female president

Mie Kumagai will take over the head position at Hitmaker.

Sega has announced that Mie Kumagai will become the next president of Sega subsidiary Hitmaker. Kumagai, currently 35 years old, joined Sega in 1993 and transferred to Hitmaker in 2000. As a producer and executive, she has worked on the Power Smash series and Virtual On Marz. Hitmaker's former president, Hisao Oguchi, moved to Sega on June 27 to become its new president. Kumagai will be Sega's first female studio president.
