Sega delays Phantasy Star Online Version 2 release
Sega pushes the Japanese release of Phantasy Star Online Version 2 back in order to make some final development tweaks.
Sega has pushed back the Japanese release of Phantasy Star Online Version 2 for the Sega Dreamcast from May 31 to June 7. The game's developer, Sonic Team, encountered some bugs when playing the game over a network, and those bugs are currently being resolved. A North American release date has not been announced by SOA at this time, but several retailers have the game listed for release in mid-July. GameSpot will have more on PSO Version 2 as it becomes available.
