Thor: Ragnarok will feature the God of Thunder and the gamma-charged goliath going on what has previously been described as a buddy movie-like adventure. Little else is known about the movie, but at Comic-Con Marvel revealed that Hulk will be equipped with his iconic gladiator outfit at some point.

The costume was featured in a video posted by Ryan Penagos, executive editor of Marvel Digital Media. Take a look below to see the rather large helmet, shoulder guard, and hammer.

Some close-up images showing the detailing in the armor have also been posted on Twitter by Penagos.

The reveal has reinforced speculation that Thor: Ragnarok will take some inspiration from Planet Hulk, a comic book series in which Hulk battled monsters on an alien planet. Quite how this narrative will be worked into the new Thor movie remains to be seen.

The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. This will be the first time that Ruffalo has appeared in any Marvel film except for the two Avengers movies. The cast also includes Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, and Jeff Goldblum. Blanchett is know to be playing a villainous character, while Goldblum will portray immortal games-playing Grandmaster.

The previous Thor movie, Thor: The Dark World, was released in November 2013. It has earned more than $644 million worldwide, making it the sixth most successful of Marvel's films to date. Thor: Ragnarok is due to be released on November 3, 2017.
