SCi Entertainment Group has announced that it has reached an agreement with Microsoft to release its upcoming third-person action-strategy game Conflict: Desert Storm on the Xbox. In the game, players assume command of either the British SAS or the US Delta Force special-ops squads during the Gulf War. The game's missions are based on actual Desert Storm events and involve various aspects of combat, including stealth, strategy, and direct combat. The game will take the player from a small town known as Al Khafji all the way to the heart of Baghdad.

SCi plans to include network support for the game's multiplayer mode, but those details haven't been announced at this time. GameSpot will have more on Conflict: Desert Storm as it becomes available.
