RuneSword II demo available

Shrapnel Games has announced the release of a playable demo for its upcoming role-playing game, RuneSword II. The demo is available for download from the official Shrapnel Games Web site, and it lets players play through 500 turns in the game.

The full game includes two full-length adventures, along with four mini-adventures. It features turn-based combat, 13 playable races, and more than 35 skills. The game also includes a full construction set that lets players build custom adventures, as well as an automatic random adventure generator.

RuneSword II is scheduled to ship on October 2, and it is available for preorder through the Shrapnel Games Web site for a retail price of $39.95.
