The 2011 Rugby World Cup gets under way across the Tasman Sea in just a few weeks, and to celebrate, Microsoft is launching yet another Xbox 360 bundle. Compared to the likes of the Star Wars bundle, the Rugby World Cup bundle is fairly bare-bones, but it still includes a 4GB Xbox 360 and a copy of Rugby World Cup 2011.

The Rugby World Cup 2011 Xbox 360 bundle goes on sale on August 25 and will sell for A$349. Interestingly, when the bundle is released, it will be the cheapest way for consumers to purchase an Xbox 360. The cheapest existing package sells for A$449.

Rugby World Cup 2011 is being developed by HB studios, the team that worked on previous rugby union games for EA Sports before they left the playing field. The game contains all of the 20 competing nations; however, both the Wallabies and the All Blacks aren't officially licensed.
