RRV Heads to the Arcades

GameSpot has learned that Namco has plans to release an arcade version of Ridge Racer V. The arcade version of the game will be called Ridge Racer V: Arcade Battle and will be based on the recently released PlayStation 2-compatible arcade board. The game will be available in Japanese arcades in the fall. No details on specific changes for this version are available at this time.

Ridge Racer V is currently available for the Japanese PlayStation 2 and is expected to be a launch title for the system's North American release on October 26.
