Romance of the Three Kingdoms X goes gold

Newest chapter of the simulation set in ancient China will ship for the PlayStation 2 on June 21.

Koei today announced that Romance of the Three Kingdoms X is off to factory. The strategy game is the latest in the long-running franchise, which dates back to the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Sega Genesis. ROTTKX will march onto PlayStation 2s June 21.

Set in ancient China during a period of civil war, Romance of the Three Kingdoms X is a strategy game that covers more than 100 years of history. Gamers can play as hundreds of playable characters, including historical figures Liu Bei, Cao Cao, and Zhao Yun. As political leaders, gamers will have to master several facets of leadership, including diplomacy, military strategy, and more.
