RollerCoaster Tycoon announced for the Xbox

Infogrames announces that it will release an Xbox version of its best-selling PC management game in March. First screens inside.

Infogrames has today revealed that it will release a previously unannounced Xbox version of RollerCoaster Tycoon in March. The Xbox version of the game, which was first released for the PC in 1999, will not only incorporate all the features of the original game , but it will also include those found in the subsequent original game and original game expansion packs.

"RollerCoaster Tycoon has been one of the most popular games released in the last three years," said Pascale Vermeerbergen, marketing director for Infogrames Europe. "The fans have been shouting for RollerCoaster Tycoon on the Xbox console and we're glad to give them what they've been demanding."

In RollerCoaster Tycoon, players must attempt to build and manage a successful theme park, complete with roller coasters of their own design. The game is currently scheduled for release in Europe on March 14 and in North America on March 18. We'll bring you more information on the Xbox version of RollerCoaster Tycoon as it becomes available.
