Sim fans eager to get on board RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 are in luck. Atari announced today that it will release a demo of the amusement-park sim on September 27, one month before the game's scheduled October 26 ship date. The demo can be reserved today for automatic delivery via GameSpot DLX.

In addition to the demo announcement, Atari announced a special preorder campaign for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. All those who preorder the game will be able to download three roller coasters created by professional coaster designer John Wardley: Dueling Dragsters, a twin-track ride, and the Tesla Coiler, which resembles its namesake. Those who preorder the game from EB Games will have access to another coaster, called Serpentine, while those who preorder from other outlets can download the wooden coaster called Splinter after the game ships.
