Ubi Soft has shipped the Xbox version of Rocky to stores in North America today. The game, which was developed by UK-based Rage Software, challenges players to take the boxer played by Sylvester Stallone in the Rocky movies through fights with more than 20 different fighters from all five movies to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

The game boasts a great deal of depth, as players can employ around 250 different moves and combinations in the ring. Rocky also features realistic fighter damage, with characters showing signs of bruising, facial swelling, blood, sweat, and even tears as matches progress.

The Xbox version of Rocky is the first to arrive in stores. The GameCube and GameCube versions will be available on November 14, and the GameCube version will follow on November 19. For more information, check out our GameCube of the game.
