The 2008 PC browser-based title Rocketbirds: Revolution! was a 2D action game along the lines of classic titles like Another World and Flashback, except with anthropomorphic chickens and birds. Developer Ratloop Asia recently announced that the second installment, titled Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, will be coming out in October exclusively for the PlayStation Network.

The revolution spreads to the PSN this October.

Hardboiled Chicken is an expansion of the PC title and will feature new characters and 25 missions. The title is about a secret agent named Hardboiled Chicken who must take down the evil penguin leader Putzki in the city of Albatropolis, which was recently taken over by Putzki's penguin regime. The game also has a cooperative campaign where players assume the role of a pair of budgie commandos who are ordered to save a general's daughter. In addition, the game supports stereoscopic 3D.
