Rocket League's Next Free DLC Arena Announced, Comes Out Very Soon
Starbase Arc is coming out on December 7.
Tonight during The Game Awards 2016, Psyonix announced Rocket League's next arena. Called Starbase Arc, the map is free and arrives on December 7 for all platforms.
As the name alludes to, Starbase Arc is set in outer space on some kind of space station. A trailer for the map aired during The Game Awards--check it out below.
Additionally, a new DLC car, Vulcan, will launch on December 7 for $2. Here is the official description for Starbase Arc:
"Starbase ARC, an homage to Psyonix's critically-acclaimed mobile title, ARC Squadron, is an octagonally-shaped space station orbiting a desert planet in a distant galaxy. Lasers fire whenever goals are scored, starships battle it out in the skies, and planetoids float eerily by in the distance to create one of the most epic Rocket League atmospheres yet."
On top of the new arena and car, the Starbase Arc update adds the previously announced Custom Training mode--read more about it here. Additionally, the update adds Steam Workshop support.
