Rise of Nations delay, beta test sign-ups

We were informed today by a Microsoft representative that Rise of Nations, Big Huge Games' historically themed real-time strategy game, is now scheduled to ship on May 20, rather than in April, as was originally planned. The development team at Big Huge Games will use the extra time to add even more polish to the final game, as well as to put it through an additional round of internal testing.

In the meantime, GameSpot Complete members will be able to sign up for a chance to participate in the Rise of Nations beta test this Friday. Be sure to check back at the end of the week for more details. For more information on Rise of Nations, consult our previous coverage of the game.
