Ripcord Games announced on Thursday its upcoming holiday lineup: a set of three titles that the company will help develop and publish. SouthPeak Interactive will distribute the titles. The distribution agreement with SouthPeak is also new, as the company previously went through Panasonic for distribution channels.

The anticipated Spec Ops II: US Army Green Berets is the first title. Developed by Zombie Interactive, it features a much more immersive environment than the first, 32-player network games, and more. Legend of the Blade Masters is the second title. Developed by Ronin Entertainment, it's a 3D action/RPG. The last title, called Noble Armada, was developed by Holistic Designs, and it is a 3D space strategy game based on the RPG universe Fading Suns.

The games are expected to ship on November 1, November 29, and October 12, respectively.

The announcement comes after some serious restructuring and other financial moves by Ripcord Games, which bought itself out from under the umbrella of Matsushita (the Panasonic brand) in April.

"We describe it as a true renaissance," said Lou Viveros, president of Ripcord Games. "In four short months, we've attracted solid investors, executed a buyout from one of the world's largest companies, assimilated nearly $18 million of assets, strengthened our relationships with select developers, entirely resolved all issues with channel and inventory transition, and signed up one of the most stable distributors in the marketplace. That's a pretty good way to get going, or get re-going."
