Respawn warns of Titanfall beta scams

Developer says all sites advertising beta access for 2014 first-person shooter are "100 percent scams."

Respawn Entertainment has cautioned gamers that any sites claiming to be able to grant access to a Titanfall beta are fraudulent and should be avoided.

"To help keep our fans safe from scammers, please note that all sites advertising beta access are 100 percent scams," the developer said on Twitter.

Titanfall is a multiplayer-only first-person shooter created by numerous former Call of Duty developers, including Infinity Ward cofounder Vince Zampella.
