With the release of Resident Evil Zero HD approaching, Capcom has released new screenshots highlighting the visual improvements offered in the new version of the game.

This is not by any means a full-on remake; as previous videos have shown, the graphical changes are noticeable, but not overwhelming. Still, considering it was originally released on GameCube in 2002, any updates--such as widescreen support--are welcome ones.

Resident Evil 0 HD is just the latest HD remaster to come from Capcom. The publisher has made these types of releases a pillar of its business, and it's likely that we'll be seeing more Resident Evil games get this treatment going forward. We already know Resident Evil 2 is getting a remake.

Resident Evil 0 HD will release as a digital title early next year for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3. It'll also be available in a physical bundle with the remastered version of Resident Evil for PS4 and Xbox One on January 19, 2016.
