Japanese publisher Capcom is working on sequel to 2012's Resident Evil: Revelations, according to a listing that appeared last night on Xbox.com. Polygon reports that box art and a screenshot for the game were published there, though they have since been removed.

Resident Evil: Revelations originally released for 3DS in 2012, before high-definition versions came to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC last year. It's unknown how well the 3DS version sold, but Capcom said in February that the console and PC versions have combined for over 1.1 million in sales.

Though Capcom has not officially announced a sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations, sales of that level--and the game's above-average review scores--make a follow-up sound likely.

Capcom announced earlier this month that it will release an HD version of the original Resident Evil for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC early next year. The company is also rumored to be working on Resident Evil 7, the next entry in the core series. The Resident Evil series is one of Capcom's biggest, having sold 61 million units across 92 different game releases to date.
