Capcom and iam8bit announced today that the two companies have collaborated on a Resident Evil escape room. The Resident Evil Escape Experience is only available in Los Angeles from October 21 at 6:30 PM PT to November 6 at 11 PM PT.

On the escape room's EventBrite page, it says the escape room has "some obvious and some not so obvious nods to various Resident Evil games," including the upcoming Resident Evil 7. One ticket costs $35, and your team can consist of up to six people. There doesn't seem to be an age limit, but it is recommended that you're at least 17 years old.

Iam8bit suggests arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, as the experience starts right on time and no refunds are offered. You can find out more information, including address, parking, and food options here.

In addition to the escape room, iam8bit will have a gallery full of art based on the Resident Evil series. Prints and other merchandise will be available to buy at the experience's location.

As for video games, Resident Evil 7 continues the series on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24. PS4 players can download and play a demo, the contents of which won't be in the full game. The demo does not feature combat, but we know there will be weapons such as shotguns and pistols in the full game, thanks to preorder bonuses that were revealed in September.

Those who want to play Resident Evil 7 on PC can check out the system requirements here. Because the game is still in development, these specifications might change before launch.
