Republic release brought forward

Eidos has today announced that Republic: The Revolution, which went gold last week, will be released on August 29--a week earlier than planned. No reasons for the decision have been forthcoming, but it certainly makes a nice change for a game to arrive in stores earlier than expected.

Republic: The Revolution is a political strategy game developed by Elixir Studios. The game will challenge players to rise to power in the fictional former Soviet republic of Novistrana. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
