Westwood Studios has announced that the soundtrack for Command & Conquer Renegade, its upcoming action game, is complete. The music was composed by senior Westwood composer Frank Klepacki, and it was inspired by music from the original Command & Conquer game.

"Renegade is 100 percent C&C, and even follows the original game's timeline," said Klepacki. "For that reason, I used the original C&C soundtrack as the basis for my inspiration for the Renegade music. I added some new twists on some of the old fan favorites to breathe new life into them, in addition to creating all new pieces."

Renegade is a 3D action game set in the universe of Westwood's popular Command & Conquer real-time strategy games. The game's soundtrack includes 15 songs, and it will be available at select retailers when the game is released on February 26. The soundtrack is also available as a free gift from the EA.com store for those who preorder the game.
