Redeemer heads off to retail

High Voltage Software and Interplay announced today that Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer, the sequel to the popular Hunter: The Reckoning, shipped out to stores today.

Drawing its inspiration from the same role-playing game as the original, Redeemer picks up several years after Reckoning left off, with the town of Ashcroft being overrun by another horde of zombies. The first game's four playable characters--the avenger, the martyr, the defender, and the judge--also return, joined by Kaylie Winter, a new pistol-packin' heroine.

Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer retails for $49.99, is rated 'M' for Mature, and is available only for the Xbox.
