Software publisher DreamCatcher Interactive on Thursday announced the creation of a new action/strategy label, Re:Action Entertainment.

While DreamCatcher is primarily focused on adventure games like Ransom's Interactive Forgotten and the Crystal Key, Re:Action Entertainment will focus on action, strategy, and simulations. A lineup will be unveiled at E3 '99 in May.

"Re:Action is part of a natural evolution for our company," said Richard Wah Kan, president of DreamCatcher Interactive. "We want to reach out to a new audience and bring them some of the best action and strategy titles available, without alienating our existing demographic. We feel the timing is perfect to take advantage of what we've learned from our experiences and to utilize our strong distribution channel in expanding into some new markets."
