Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc announced
Ubi Soft officially unveils the next game in its cartoon-style platform action series. Details and first screens inside.
Ubi Soft Entertainment has officially announced Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, which is being developed for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC, according to the company. "In Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, we made a big step forward," said Christine Burgess-Quernard, managing director of Ubi's international production unit. "With its groundbreaking technology and brilliant story, this title clearly shows Ubi Soft Entertainment's ambition in the development of state-of-the-art entertainment software."
According to the company, the game features completely new areas with even more bizarre creatures and citizens. The game will also have a new tactical combat system. "An extraordinary number of ideas went into the development of Rayman 3 Hoodlom Havoc," said Michel Ancel, the series' original creator, who is also at the helm of Rayman 3. "It will not only appeal to the existing fan base, but also to a completely new audience."
Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc is scheduled for release this fall.
