A Ratchet & Clank endless running game called Ratchet & Clank: Before the Nexus will be released this year, Insomniac Games announced this week.
In the game, players can hop between grindrails to collect bolts that can be then used to upgrade weapons and armor.
Before the Nexus also connects with PlayStation 3 game Into the Nexus, allowing players to collect Raritanium that can be used to upgrade weapons in the console game.
No details regarding pricing, platform availability, or launch timing was provided. Ratchet & Clank: Going Mobile was released for mobile phones in 2005.
Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus launches November 12 exclusively on PS3. It is an epilogue to the Future series, and will be available through the PlayStation Store for $30 and on disc at retail.
