Shooting off product announcements faster than an MP5 on full auto, Ubisoft today revealed that it will port Rainbow Six 3 to the GameCube. Set for a June ship date, it will be the third version of the game for current-generation consoles. The game is already available for the Xbox and PlayStation 2.

Like its Microsoft and Sony siblings, GameCube Rainbow Six 3 profiles Team Rainbow, an elite international antiterrorist unit. As American ex-Special Ops member Domingo "Ding" Chavez, players will command a four-man squad of commandos on a variety of missions, from hostage rescue to enemy elimination (or both).

While the GameCube version will have the same "trademark Tom Clancy realism" as the other Rainbow Six 3 games, it will not (obviously) have their online multiplayer components.
