Strategy First and Flying Labs have released a new patch for the real-time strategy game Rails Across America. The patch includes a number of minor bug fixes and gameplay tweaks, plus a new editor for creating single- player maps. With the patch, players will also be able to navigate the map and view financial reports while the game is paused. GameSpot Complete users can download the file from the links below, and the patch is also available from Flying Labs' official site.

Rails Across America, released last year, challenges players to build and manage their own railroad network in North America between the years of 1830 and 2020. The game focuses on strategic decisions rather than the day-to-day management of a player's empire, so while they're deciding where to expand and which rail barons to compete with, they don't need to concern themselves with the running of individual trains. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
