Bigben Interactive has today announced that it will release Railroad Pioneer in Europe on March 13, 2004. The historical business simulation game, which is currently in development at Germany-based Kritzelkratz, will see players assuming the role of the owner of a recently founded railway company in New York around the year 1830. You will attempt to build a railroad all the way across North America.

Railroad Pioneer will feature 25 historical locomotives, 22 different industries, and 10 wagon types for transporting 18 different kinds of goods. The game's single-player campaign will comprise 10 missions and will teach players about the history of America as they progress. Internet and network support for up to four players will also be supported.

We'll bring you more information on Railroad Pioneer as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, you might be interested in checking out the game's official Web site.
