Race Driver 2 announced

Codemasters has today announced that it will be releasing the first detailed information on Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator at Microsoft's X03 event in France next week. Codemasters describes the game as its most ambitious motorsport project to date and claims that Race Driver 2 will feature the most diverse range of motorsports ever seen in a single game.

"Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator is a hugely exciting project, and we're thrilled to be revealing details on the game at X03, which is now firmly established as a major event in the Xbox gaming calendar," said Richard Eddy, Codemasters' head of communications.

We'll bring you more on Race Driver 2, which is currently scheduled for release in 2004, when we report live from X03 on September 16-17.
