When it announced the PC version earlier this week, Microsoft released the minimum requirements and recommended specs for it. The latter seemed to be awfully high, suggesting you have an i7 4790 (or AMD equivalent), 16 GB of RAM, and a 6 GB 980 Ti or R9 Fury X. Those are expensive cards, falling in the $600-plus range.

Quantum Break's specs have since been revised, with those high-end parts now being deemed necessary only for Ultra settings. The new recommended specs are more modest, asking for an i5 4690 and a 4 GB GTX 970 or R9 390 (but still 16 GB of RAM). Those cards can be had for nearly half the price of a 980 Ti or R9 Fury X.

The minimum specs remain the same: i5-4460 or FX-6300, 8 GB of RAM, and a 2 GB GTX 760 or R7 260x. You'll also need to be running a 64-bit version of Windows 10.

Quantum Break arrives for PC on April 5, the same day as the Xbox One version. It supports cross-save with the Xbox One version, which you can preorder digitally to receive a free PC copy.
