Quantic Dream hiring for mobile

Heavy Rain studio seeking user interface artist and designer to create 2D artwork and graphics for unspecified project.

Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls studio Quantic Dream could be moving into the mobile space. The Paris-based studio has posted a job listing for a UI artist/UI designer that suggests the company is at work on something for mobile platforms.

"This position involves designing and creating 2D artwork and graphics for the UI Interface as well as other 2D items on various mobile and console platforms," reads a line from the job description with emphasis added.

Last month, a NeoGAF forum member found a Quantic Dream job listing for an Android programmer, though it was housed on a third-party job board and not the developer's official website.

None of Quantic Dream's other five job listings include mention of mobile platforms.

Beyond: Two Souls launches in October and Quantic Dream is already at work on an "incredibly exciting" PlayStation 4 title. This game may include multiplayer, according to a past job listing, which would be a first for Quantic Dream.

You know, I've grown so used to Quantic Dream games falling apart in the end I'd actually be semi disappointed if Beyond Two Souls doesn't follow suit...

Oh yeah, back on topic: I bet they can make a cool mobile game, so color me curious about this.

I see another Deus Ex situation in my future. For example, Deus Ex: The Fall. Get all excited from a teaser for their next game, only to find out it's a mobile game.

I don't doubt it will be a good game though, just not for me.

It'd be interesting to see how they'll make a touchscreen game

Actually, given how their last few games have been controlled, touch screens and Quantic Dream could be a good mix.

Eh. : /  They're really going to work on a mobile game now?  They are still working on a PS4 game, right?  It's too bad The Dark Sorcerer was just a demo, that would have been a refreshing game idea.

EDIT: OOh, so they are still working on a console game.  Excellent, exxxcellent...

@ar6ra6sh9 @SlimeSwayze do u play? i would say yes it's impossible cause you're just gonna muffle out the vibration of the strings with the glove, fingerless gloves however, now where talking

@jecomans @digits52 you can if you blocked the vibration of the string, there is a reason why people who do play guitar with gloves on have finger less gloves.

@digits52 Maybe it's an artistic decision, like putting a mute in a trumpet? You can't stop the music, Mr digits52.
