QuakeCon 2K2 coming in August

Id Software has announced that QuakeCon 2K2, its upcoming game festival, will be held in Mesquite, Texas, on August 15-18, 2002. The festival will feature two main-event tournaments: a single-player deathmatch competition in Quake III Arena and a team-based competition in id's latest shooter, Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Last year's QuakeCon was also filled with news about games by id and its partners, particularly on Quake IV, Doom III, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
