Quake III Arena Out?

Activision and id Software's latest first-person shooter, Quake III Arena, is already showing up on store shelves nationwide. Activision has stated that December 5 is the day everyone will be able to find copies at local retailers (if those retailers have any copies remaining...).

A call to a local Electronics Boutique in San Francisco revealed that the game won't be available for purchase there until Friday, December 3. Our suggestion, call retailers to find out if they have any copies of the game in stock. If they do, cancel all weekend activities so you can play.
