Punisher's Final Costume Revealed in Daredevil Promo

Season two of Daredevil is going to be one wild ride, with both Punisher and Elektra entering this season. Back in February, fans finally got to see Jon Bernthal as the Punisher in action; however, Bernthal hasn't been seen in the iconic skull emblem, until now.

Netflix India revealed a new promo image for the upcoming second season of Daredevil. In the image is Bernthal wearing an outfit that's very close to the comic book version of Punisher. In addition, Elodie Yung is in her full Elektra outfit, which is quite different than the comic book version, but it looks more practical for the series.

In an interview with Collider, showrunner Doug Petrie discussed Punisher's entrance:

"In that first episode where we’re so mysterious with him, if you know the character of Frank Castle, you're just going to go fanboy bananas because we really tease it out. And if you've never seen him before and are unfamiliar with the canon, it's still a pretty satisfying episode because something really powerful that is against what Matt stands for is now inexorably entering Matt's backyard."

See both Elektra and Punisher in season two of Daredevil, which comes to Netflix on March 18.
