Psygnosis' '98 Console Lineup
When it comes to releasing a variety of games, Psygnosis has all bases covered.
In addition to the PC lineup, Psygnosis announced Tuesday its lineup of console titles for 1998. It includes a covering of all bases, with at least one title in every genre this year: action, racing, adventure, sports, strategy, and platform.

Here's a rundown of the console titles (noting the platform and release date) the company has planned. All dates are for 1998:
ActionColony Wars (code-named Vendetta), PlayStation, fourth quarter
RacingNewman/Haas Racing, PlayStation, March Another release in the company's Formula 1 racing series, Newman/Haas promises that this title will please racing fans and die-hard gaming enthusiasts and will be the lead-in to F1 '98 on the PlayStation with a brand-new game engine and a bunch of new features.
Strategy/ActionGlobal Domination, PlayStation, fourth quarterPsygnosis hopes to breathe new life into the strategy genre with this new arcade strategy title, which combines a 3D engine, FMV sequences, and CG-rendered imagery.
Sentinel Returns, PlayStation, second quarterBased on the '80s title The Sentinel, this update improves upon the original game and adds visual and sound enhancements.
