Wannabe pilots will soon be able to get their kicks on the PlayStation Portable because Sierra Entertainment has announced it is publishing M.A.C.H. in North America, Europe, and Australia. The game, which will be released in the US on February 20, is currently being developed by UK studio Kuju Entertainment.
Sierra describes M.A.C.H. (Modified Air Combat Heroes) as a flight combat and racing game set in the future. After a government plan to patrol the skies with unmanned aircraft goes awry, the planes end up being sold on the black market, where flyboys scoop them up for underground competitions.
Gamers will be able to outfit their jets with performance-enhancing parts and weapons, both of which will be needed to outrace and eliminate their opponents. The game boasts four game modes, including multiplayer for up to eight combatants over the handheld's ad hoc wireless mode. Multiple gamers can also do battle with just one copy of the game; M.A.C.H. supports game sharing.
The game may seem familiar to some. In addition to sharing the name of a Commodore 64 game, keen-eyed gamers may have seen M.A.C.H. listed on online retailers Web sites.
M.A.C.H. is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older and will retail for $39.99. For more information, head over to the game's Web site.
does anyone know if u will be able to download original psp games to psp go?
inpressive
personally, I prefer flight simulator games more, but that's impossible on the psp ;)
Racing? Aww, man. Got me excited when it showed that screenshot of a fighter plane about to lock onto an enemy. I would have liked it better if it sent you on missions to escort bombers or dogfight and had a story.
Seems promissing
NathanHawkings square enix havent lost their way theyre just exploring in the world of developing.
Not so bad!
should of think of something else better
Sounds interesting.....HAHAHAHAHA
I wish Sierra would make sequels or similar games to Aces over Europe or Aces over the Pacific; however, like Square-Enix...Sierra has lost its way in certain aspects. At least Sierra still continues to make its flight simulators.
Sounds interesting
sweet
sounds interesting

Hmm...a racing flight combat game. Sounds pretty interesting.
Sounds like fun! Too bad I don't have a PSP...
More units of this'll be sold than the PSP itself.
Racing game?...whatever
I don't know if this game sounds good or bad, kinda mixed on this game
good
Nice i am looking forward to an air plane game in the PSP!
If it gets good, I'll rent it.
Looks cool.
Another Air Combat game! Cool! I was wondering when handheld games would get air combat games agian like the LINX I have did. I'm glad I got a PSP the games are finaly starting to pick up and they look as good as they play! ROCK ON! BTW this one is being made by Sierra so it will rock the house! I love them as a game company!
what is the trend with spelling simle game title like T.H.I.S.?
cool i'll give it a try
looks cool, the only turn off is that it seems a little bit to kid oriented, the trailer sounded cheesy
This isn't really my cup of tea. PSP could do with the 'better gameage' though as one said.
watever. ratchet and clank is way better
yeeeeaaaaa!!!! no tthis game looks coool
good news for the psp
Looks pretty good. If it's decent, I would pick it up for my PSP!
good for you, psp people! Looks pretty decent.
yeah, psp does need a good game. I'm going to tell you the truth, i think grand theft auto: vice city stories is darn boring.
Had a PSP, sold it 3 months after it came out, the only game worth paying on it was MGA at the time, but the multiplayer element was wasted as anyone intelligent enough to play it properly had already invested in a DS, and everyone else who bought PSP around here hated MGA... So yeah, i may get one cheap sometime late next year if only for MGA/MG:PO and loco roco.
i hope this game is good because psp needs alot of good gameage.
I still don't have a PSP i must be a loser or something. How much do they cost anyways.
It`s a new idea and a welcomed game for the psp, but it would have had better potential on the PS3 with the motion-sensing controller. Now that`s really fun! I hope something like this will appear on the PS3 (besides Warhawk). Great idea, though.
Mach speed... that's nice.
if u havent turned on your psp thats your falt there are lots of games now powerstone metal gear tekken dark mirror acecombat mortal kombat come on there are now so many reasons two use it and u havent turned it on in o5 then go pickup or rent some of these games you will appreciate it
I'll stick with FTB2 and PO, thanks.
lol... I thought they were going to say PSP devs were using the PSPs full speed :(
Cool.
Snorzville

There BETTER be a goddman F-14 Tomcat in this game!
